Student Guardianship Program
MIF offers guardianship for international students attending school away from his/her parent(s) who are required to have an appointed guardian. A guardian form must usually be submitted to the school at the time of application.
What is an MIF Guardian?
A MIF guardian is a Custodial Adult to whom the student’s parent(s) have given authority and responsibility to provide care for a child, manage the child’s education and/or living arrangements while attending high school in the US.
